Lost Paws (Verloren Pootjes in Dutch, Pattes Perdues in French) is a community app that helps neighbours reunite lost pets with their families. Most pets aren't found by their owners but by an observant neighbour, so the app focuses on the people who can actually help: everyone within 5 km of where a pet went missing. Reporting a missing, spotted or found pet takes only minutes. You drop a pin on the exact spot, add photos, and neighbours nearby get a push notification right away. Reporters decide per post whether their contact details are public or whether messages are relayed privately by email. The app is free and available in Belgium and the Netherlands, in English, Dutch and French.
